A crime against Freemasonry you might think, but on this occasion the Worshipful Master W Bro. David Jelley was more than happy to take the call from an Absent Brethren.
The caller, Bro. Rob Smith was phoning from New Zealand (a stop-off point in his world -wide vacation) to obtain the Masters permission to launch the Oak Tree Lodge website: - www.oaktree-masons.info . The request being granted, the site went online and the toast was made !
Bro. Rob along with Bro. Phil Wisdom had been working on the development of this site through the quiet season and, having obtained the approval from Provincial Office, launched the website in due form in a manner befitting the opportunity that modern technology provides Freemasonry in the 21st century. |
